City SC Santa Clarita will officially launch for season tryouts on February 23, 2026.
2. What communities will City SC Santa Clarita serve?
The club will serve the communities of the Santa Clarita Valleys and surrounding area.
3. Who will lead the club?
Eli Galbraith-Knapp has been appointed Executive Director. He will oversee day-to-day operations, coach development, and implementation of City SC’s player-first curriculum throughout the region.
4. Which teams and players will transition to City SC Santa Clarita?
City SC Santa Clarita is open to all teams and players in the Santa Clarita area who would like to experience the City SC development model, coaching standards, and player pathways.
5. Will my current coach be able to coach with City SC?
Yes. Local coaches will be able to transition into City SC for the 2026-27 season. Maintaining player–coach continuity is a priority.
6. Where will teams play?
City SC Santa Clarita has secured several fields in the area, including both Central Park and Placerita Junior HS. Specific field assignments will be communicated by the club to individual teams.
7. What player pathways will be available to City SC players?
Players will have access to the full City SC Player Pathway, including:
- Training opportunities for qualified players with MLS NEXT (boys) – Riverside & SD Counties
- Training opportunities for qualified players with Girls Academy (GA) – Riverside & SD Counties
- Local elite playing opportunities within Santa Clarita as the club develops
- Invitation-based opportunities through the City Connect Identification Program, providing advanced training and competition exposure across the City SC network
- Access to the City SC College Program, including College Nights, recruitment planning and advice, College ID camps, games, sessions and opportunities
- International travel opportunities to both Spain and the UK as part of the City SC International travel program
8. How will communication about teams and schedules be handled?
